FIELD OF SCIENTIFIC AND PROFESSIONAL WORK
During my PhD I have used colloidal suspensions with anisotropic particles (both non-magnetic and magnetic) in three experimental blocks in which I tackled some of currently outstanding questions regarding:
  • Self-assembly in colloidal suspensions under influence of external fields
  • Fabrication of active components in microfluidics
  • Hydrodynamic synchronization of autonomously oscillating particles

Currently I am working at the Center for micro and nano science and technology (Laboratory for Surface Physics and Material). Used methods and instruments: X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) te Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS).
