- X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS) from semiconductor surfaces and nanostructures
- synchrotron-based photoabsorption from semiconductor surfaces and nanostructures
- ion beam analysis, characterisation and modifications of semiconductor materials
- SIMS (Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry)
- thin film deposition by ALD (ATomic Layer Deposition)
