FIELD OF SCIENTIFIC AND PROFESSIONAL WORK
During my PhD I have used colloidal suspensions with anisotropic particles (both non-magnetic and magnetic) in the following experiments: self-assembly in colloidal suspensions under influence of external fields, fabrication of active components in microfluidics and hydrodynamic synchronization of autonomously oscillating particles.

Currently I amthe head of the Laboratory for Scanning Electron Microscopy - Faculty of Physics and Center for Micro- and Nanosciences and Technologies, University of Rijeka.

Main areas of scientific work:
- Experimental solid state physics and surface physics
- Techniques: SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy), SIMS (Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy), XPS (X-ray Photoemission Spectroscopy), ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition).
